Directorate of Career Services
The Directorate of Career Services (DCS) at Koya University was established at the end of August 2015. As part of the developing plan of KRG’s ministry of Higher Education to establish a Career Service at public universities across the Kurdistan region. Therefore Koya University has established such a Directorate for career service to provide guide and resources to students to access their future job market.

Career Services is committed to empowering students and graduates of Koya University to discover their passion, explore their career options, develop their personal career plan, and attain their goals as part of their lifelong educational philosophy.
Aims & Objectives
In our mission to empower students in their own lifelong career and learning journey our aims are:
To deliver a high quality cohesive guidance, information and vacancy service for the undergraduate students of the University.
To provide, in partnership with academic departments and others, opportunities for students to develop the skills and attitudes which will strengthen their “employability”, including career management skills.
To deliver, in partnership with academic departments and others where appropriate, opportunities for students to gain work experience, to learn from that experience.
To provide, in partnership with others where appropriate, support from recent graduates of the University to aid their transition into the graduate labour market.
To maintain and develop extensive contacts with employers and with other external providers of experience, work and training.
To advise and inform the University on matters related to the employment and training of graduates.
To support and develop staff in a way which maintains high levels of professional standards and expertise.

بەڕيوبەرایەتی بەکارخستن لە کۆتایی مانگی ٨ی ساڵی ٢٠١٥ لە زانکۆی کۆیە دامەزرا. دامەزراندنی ئەم بەڕێوبەرایەتییە لە زانکۆ حوکومیەکانی هەریمی کوردستان بەشێکە لە پلانە پیشکەوتووەکانی وەزارەتی خوێندنی باڵای هەرێمی کوردستان. بۆیە زانکۆی کۆیە هەڵسا بە دامەزراندنی بەرێوەبەرایەتێک بۆ خزمەتگوزاری دابین کردنی هەلی کار بۆ پیشاندانی رێگا و سەرچاوە بە فێرخوازان بۆ بەدەست هێنانی هەلی کار لە بازاری کاردا.
ئەرکی بەڕێوبەرایەتیەکە:
خزمەتگوزاری دۆزینەوەی هەلی کار داندراوە بۆ بەتواناکردنی خوێندکاران و دەرچوانی زانکۆی کۆیە بۆ بەدەست هێنانی هیوا و ئاواتەکانیان و دۆزینەوەی ئەو پیشەیەی کە ئارەزوی دەکەن و توانا پیشییە تایبەتەکەنی خۆیان گەشە پێ بدەن و ئامانجی خۆیان بە دەست بێنن بۆ ئەوەی ببێت بە بەشێک لە فەلسەفەی پەروەردەیی هەمیشەییان.
ئامانج و مەبەست:
ئەرکی ئێمە لە بەتوانا کردنی پیشەی هەمیشەیی خوێندکاران و بەتوانا کردنی گەشتی فێربوون ئەمانەن:
· گەیاندنی باشترین جۆری زانیاریی و هەلی کار و رێگای روون و ئاشکرا بۆ خوێندکاران و فێرخوازانی زانکۆ.
· هەوڵدان بۆ رەخساندنی هەلی کار بۆ فێرخوازان بۆ بەرەوپێش بردنی بەهرە و هەڵوێست ئەمەش بە یارمەتی بەشە ئاکادمییەکان و بەشەکانی تر کە یارمەتیدەر دەبن لە دامەزراندنیان.
· بە یارمەتی بەشە ئاکادمییەکان و بەشەکانی تر ،ئەگەر گونجا ، رەخساندنی هەلی کار بە فێرخوازان بۆ بەدەست هێنانی شارەزایی کارکردن.
· بەدەست هێنانی پاڵپشتی بۆ فێرخوازانی زانکۆ لە لایەن دەرچووانی پێشووی زانکۆ بۆ هاتنە ناو بازاری کار.
· بۆ بەدەست هێنان و پتەوکردنی پەیوەندی لەگەڵ فەرمانبەران و کەسانی شارەزا بۆ ئەوەی کارو راهێنان بە فێرخوازان بکەن.
· ئامۆژگاری کردن و ئاگادار کردنەوەی زانکۆ سەبارەت بە دامەزراندن و راهێنانی دەرچووان.
· پاڵپشت کردن و بەرەپێش بردنی ستافەکان بۆ بەدەست هێنانی بەرزترین ئاستی پرۆفێشناڵی و شارەزایی.
