Koya University Referencing System This is a project to make Harvard referencing system is the most common style of referencing used at Koya University and is the officially adopted standard for all academic publications at any level. At last Koya University makes the implementation of the Harvard referencing system, based on Anglia Ruskin University version, as Koya University official version of referencing system in all level of scientific publications. The strategy has been part of the long term standardization strategy of Koya University since 2012 and now it is an official formal regulation. Learn Kurdish as Second Language Learn Kurdish is a basic course intended to people who would like to learn Kurdish as second language. This course has been initiated by VP office in coordination with Kurdish Language Dep at Koya University. The full details is available at the website for this course. 15 April 2015  
Collecting Data on Koya University Publication This project initiated to collect all published research publication across the university from 2003 onward. This will help the university to engage more clearly in ranking of the university.  10 December 2014  
Press Room Project for Koya University This is a dedicated to Press Room office initiated by our office to enable Koya University to reach wider audience globally. The media structure and coordination at the university has been laid out and a dedicated website is provided to create an interaction portal. 1 December 2014  
Every two months coordination meetings with Deans To enable better coordination between Faculties and follow an all inclusive policy at Koya University every two months coordination meeting with deans has been arranged. These meetings allow for brainstorming, evaluating, processing in line with Koya University university strategic visions as well as promoting a collective approach to university common goals. These meetings are aiming to better coordinate between projects and promote our collective efforts. Fortnight meeting arrangement at VPSci Office  To enable better coordination between directorates and units related to VPSci office a new arrangement for inclusive fortnight (every two weeks) meeting has been introduced. These meetings are aiming to better coordinate between projects and promote our collective efforts. Seminar on Koya University English Language Centre KUELC This university wide seminar provided A-Z details of Koya University. It provided information on planning, organising and implementing the project to its successful records. The Koya University English Language Centre (KUELC) provides instruction to international students who need to improve their English language skills before beginning academic course work. The KUELC serves the students by providing English language instruction against a backdrop of Global life and academia. 11 November 2014  
A seminar on Koya University Webometrics ranking for 2014 Koya University has seized the importance of Internet and electronic communication by implementing a main stream online presences. After months of development in 2012 the project was introduced in early 2012/2013 academic year which evolved all the sectors of the university, such as library, Scientific Journal, directorates, faculties, department and academic staff as well as university wide teaching quality assurance. This university wide seminar provided the timeline for the project and the forthcoming stages.  10 November 2014  
Providing seminar on Erasmus Program This seminar was provided for a university wide audience on Koya University's involvement on the Erasmus Program, Marhaba Project. The dedicated website for the project was introduced and background, process, detail application and time table were explained. 9 November 2014  
Providing a website for Marhaba Project On this website, you will find general information about the Erasmus Mundus initiative, project for Lot 3 MARHABA in English and Kurdish. This project was approved by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency, and partner universities. 5 November 2014

KOYU45: Rooms and Spaces at Koya University This project aim to collect data regading all academic spaces at Koya University to be able to locate regulated shared space or academic purposes. This is important for student and faculty. All spaces are codified and listed by buildings serial numbers.  15 June 2013  
Koya University Alumni Association (KUAA) The purpose of the KUAA as stated in its Constitution is to promote the welfare of Koya University and to establish a mutually beneficial relationship between Koya University and its alumni. The KUAA helps alumni connect with the University and with fellow graduates through a wealth of academic activities, continuing education programs, online services, and alumni events. 20 November 2012  
Regulating the Academic Desertation The process of standardising the publications in general and in particular Graduate and Postgraduate publication at Koya University started in May 2012. In line with the same policy work has been carried out to regulate and standardise into global norms of academic publications. Layout, Colours, Referencing, Writing style has been among area of refoming 1 October 2012  
An electronic enabled University VP for Scientific Affairs have become active at Koya University. The mean stream policy of the office will be an all inclusive electronic enabled University aiming to global ranking and paperless communication. This will allow for a restructure of our mission and visions circled around student centred university driven policy. 10 April 2012  
Reformat and Standardise Letter head and Qualifications  This project was active for two year and dealt specifically with letter heads standard communication through out the university as well as all qualification certificates produced by this university. This will have a great impact how this university is viewed by others and help us to appear more organised and systematic.  15 February 2012
